Springers are Sweet and Social

Of all the dogs I have worked with, Springers are the most loving. They know how to cheer you up when you are down, usually with their sweet expression and a warm hug. They love spending time with their people, whether cuddling, running/walking, or just being nearby.
They do require a good amount of exercise. They do not take well to being cooped up constantly. They are eager to learn and do well with all types of training, from obedience to field work.
Their coat is not particularly difficult to maintain with the right tools. They can get matted, but weekly brushing should take care of that. They do leave white hair all over furniture and clothes.
