My family got Sadie when she was an 8 week old puppy. She was very shy when we first got her but turned out to be full of energy as she got older. We hired a professional to train her, she went to a training camp for a little while and the trainer came to our house to help us learn how to train her. She was very stubborn. We liked to say she had selective hearing when it came to training. She pulled a lot on the leash and would always chase animals. She had so much energy and she needed to be taken on a walk or a run every day.
She was such a wonderful loving dog. She always would come to sit on your lap, always greeted familiar faces with kisses and was a wonderful family dog. I think she was particularly headstrong for a Springer Spaniel. We had a few others and none of them were as dominant as Sadie was.
