Fenway is the most empathetic dog I've ever worked with. She is the dog that knows exactly when something is wrong and will be by your side until you are feeling better. She bonds very quickly and is protective of her family. She barks whenever she hears a car pull up the drive, making her an excellent watchdog. She is wonderful with children, including her new 1 month old baby brother (see the adorableness in the picture)!

Springers are ACTIVE. They need to be walked or ran a few miles a day or be allowed to run in a fenced in yard. If they are not given enough time to run, they can get destructive. The only other negative I have seen with the breed is that they do shed quite a bit. Expect frequent brushings or groomings to keep up!
