Our friends got Rascal from a friend years ago. He's a total sweetheart, but a little spoiled. He likes to come inside and stay right by people whenever he can. But he also does a decent job as a guard dog for their livestock and likes to chase off coyotes. One of his other favorite pastimes is to dig up and eat gophers and snakes. His main shortcomings are his love for stealing the chicken eggs that are laid outside the coop and his constant mats in his fluff.

Rascal does great watching over the people and sheep on his farm, and he never wanders off his own space even though he could easily get through the fence if he wanted to escape. He's much to attached to his humans to wander too far. He does chase off coyotes, but he wouldn't be much of a match by himself. His Anatolian pals do most of the work. He just likes to run after them and bark so everyone knows something is there.
