She was my sweet dog! I miss her so much. The breeder had offered my father to adopt a dog. On the day we went to pick it up other people had gone earlier and they took the dog that was supposed to be ours. The lady that took care of the place apologized and offered us other dog that was also for adoption, we said yes and there she came, all black and with those huge ears, curious and asking for care. We took her home and in the years she spent with us I hope she was the happiest dog in the world because we tried everything to make it so. Unfortunately this breed (English Cocker Spaniel) is very susceptible to diseases in the ears so after some time there was nothing we could do to save her, but by that time she was already 11 years old! I'll never stop missing her, she didn't bark too much, she liked to hunt occasionally, fireworks didn't bother her. I recommend this breed to everyone who is looking for a new dog, they are loyal, playful and caring.
