Billie was a purebred cocker spaniel. She was super easy to house train, great with kids, and incredibly smart. She loved everyone and never growled or bit in her entire life with us-even when the kids dressed her up in doll clothes and made her go to tea parties. She loved children, but did chase our cat for fun at times. She did need occasional grooming and to be brushed to minimize shedding. She was playful, beautiful and very loyal to her family. She got along great with other dogs as well.

I have heard this breed has issues with children, but we definitely never ever noticed that with her. She was a fabulous pet for our family. She was a very affectionate dog and loved her people very much.
