Probably breed of dog largely determines his character, but that is not true to 100%. The Dogo Argentino was developed in Argentina primarily for the purpose of big-game hunting, including wild boar and puma. Some people call them ‘dogs –killers’. Look at our 'killer':) He has lived with us for four years, was 4 months old when we bought him. I don`t want to remember all the torn pillows and mattresses, the hours spent in cleaning up after him. But all this was worth it. A more sweet and friendly dog I do not know. If he likes you, you will notice that he speaks to you. In the days when the bell of the house was not working it was very easy to understand that friends come and Ares did not bark, he ‘spoke’ friendly to them. Yes, breed determined the nature of the dog, but the man constructs it.
