Dobermans Rock!

Dobermans are amazing dogs that get bad cred just because they look vicious. However this is so far from truth. Dobermans are loyal and very attached to the family. They are very active and playful, and most of the times will act childish and forget that they are actually a large breed. Mine thought it was a lapdog :)

They do well in small apartments if you take them out regularly and they have a solid couple of hours for exercise. They love to please their asters and love to work and learn. I think they are an intelligent breed. However, they aren't a good fit for people who aren't able to be leaders of the pack and be the main authority. They are stubborn and would love to get their way all the times, so constant training and obedience is a must.

They get really attached to their humans. Mine would wake up from the deepest slumber whenever I would go out of the room, even if it's just to grab something in the next one - she would always follow me around.

The bad: people will be terrified. Health isn't always great and many Dobermans have hip and joint issues. They arent a yard pet and they dont do well in cold.
