Back in 2010 I was interested in getting another dog, but from a shelter this time. I wanted to adopt a dog and give it a good home and a good life. And that is exactly what I did. I adopted Dobie when he was 5 years old, and had him for a year when he sadly passed away from a hip disorder. He was a great friend and a stubborn guy, I remember when I introduced him to my bed, oh man, I could never get him down because of his weight and stubborness. If you plan on getting this type of breed I highly recommend a non fart inducing type of diet. I'll explain why, there was one particular day which I remember. I had alot of visitors in my apartment and we were all sitting in the living room when Dobie suddenly ripped a loud one, it took about 10 seconds before everyone had to evacuate the livingroom in a hurry, the smell still haunts me to this day!
