Buster was my first experience of owning a dog and what a dog! He was actually purchased for our home by my partner. At first I was terrified of him, which he sensed as he kept a wide birth of me. As we got used to each other, he became an invaluable part of my life, like another family member. Buster was a large dog so could look quite fierce but he had a gentle and obedient nature.

Doberman's require space and a good run daily, so if you don't have a garden be prepared to take them out twice a day, morning and evening. He required minimal grooming and food for him was inexpensive. They require a little of their own territory so set aside a place within your house they can call 'home.'

A large dog like a doberman is a good pet to have and often become like another family member!
