Although Dobermans are considered aggressive and dangerous you can never really know if you don't own one.

We got Etna when she was 2 months old because we needed a guard dog.
As she grew up we discovered she was the sweetest and most caring dog we had.

She is very obedient, loyal and never makes a mess. She's very friendly to visitors but doesn't let anyone enter the house when we're not at the door.Great guard.
She was always very caring with her puppies (2 labors - 21 puppies in total!) and protective with the family - especially my little sister.

The only drawback is that she's very sensitive and gets ill. We have to take her to the vet very often and give her medication.
But this is the least we can do for her friendship and loyalty.
