Our family adopted our doberman as a pup and it was love at first rub. We had our pick of the litter and my son choose a bashful boy. As he got older he became super attached to my son and wanted to sleep in his bed with him. As he continued to grow, we made him a home outside in the backyard. Bad idea. He cried from separation anxiety even when we were just steps away on the patio. This dog gets huge and eats a ton. He needs lots of space and long walks. Lastly, he needs to feel "human".
