Doberman: The Best Dog In the World!

I got Murphy at the age of 4 weeks. At 16 weeks, he had his ears cropped, was neutered and microchipped! In his 10 1/2 years, we fostered and owned at least 8 other pets, all of which he welcomed and loved gently. He was loyal, intelligent (could open doors and even the crate door but respectfully didn't unless it was an emergency!) He was social and loved people..never met a stranger. anyone could come and go into my home whether I was there or not! I never heard him growl, and don't even know what that would sound like. When he was dying of cancer and about to be euthanized, he was carried past a 3-4 year old girl. He bent down and sniffed and licked her head…even though he was in pain and she was a stranger. They are the best dog, friend, mate, companion anyone could possibly have!
