Dalmatians are great if you take the time for training
I adored my Dalmatian. I purchased him at a good price because he had "too many spots" for show dogs. His many spots only endeared him to me all the more. I would definitely recommend a Dalmatian to anyone with children. Mine was very friendly and playful. Also, obedience training is almost a must with a Dalmatian. The training only made him a much more likable, enjoyable pet. Without it, they tend to be really hyper and uncontrollable if not worked with. Dalmatians are well worth it if you are willing to invest a little time and money in them.
