Growing a child of the 90s, I loved the Disney film “101 Dalmatians.” My whole was Dalmatian-themed. From my sheets, to wall designs, and clothes. For a Christmas present, my parents got my own Dalmatian. We named her Dazey because the name Daisy meant “one eye” and she had a large black spot over her eye. We also decided on that spelling since it was unique. She was a great energetic dog. She loved to run around and jump. She could almost jump over our fence. She was nervous around strangers. Dazey would prefer to hide than confront the stranger. But if you stayed for a while, she would come out and be your best friend. She got along with our other dogs through the years. Dalmatians can get a bad rep for being aggressive but she was the sweetest dog. It was a hard time for the whole family when she passed away but she will always be a part of us. Dalmatians are great pets and companions.
