The dalmatians are a very desirable breed thanks to their energy, intelligence and of course, their familiar spotted coat as their main characteristic. That's exactly why I chose this particular breed.

I had Greta, a female dalmatian for 2 years and I still admire her social personality and singularity. It's a median sized dog of athletic appearance and a regular exercise is indispensable. My dog needed hours of attention and plenty of space to run around wild. I advise to avoid this breed if you own an apartment or have a busy schedule.

It wasn't too difficult to train (very stubborn) and minimal grooming compensated for endless hours of cleaning jackets and sofas of those sticky hair.

I had received Greta when she was a bit more than a 1 year of age and it showed herself quite aggressive towards neighbor dogs. Nevertheless, in case of having other pets, the breeder advised that getting a puppy dalmatian would avoid such problems.

In 2 years I had this adorable dog, I can say that it was extremely loyal, playful, creative and makes a great friend for a lifetime, it's a real shame I had to give it away to friends with more space and free time...
