While his show name was "Green Star's Follow Me Mark", we knew & loved him as "Lucky". Born near St. Patrick's Day, both owner and dog were indeed "Lucky" to be with the other. I tried and failed to make him a Show Dog (both his parents were AKC-Registered purebred show dogs). Neither his temperment nor my age worked well for Dog Show Training! But it worked out for everyone as he showed his prowess as a hunting and exploring companion for my teenage years and those of my younger brother. Fiercely loyal, he was also a steadfast guard dog and top Squirrel Chaser. Lucky's health problems were minimal and he lived to the ripe age of 13. Like all Dalmatians, he thrived having a lot of room to roam around in. His temperament mellowed significantly after he was neutered but he remained an always-alert guard dog thereafter.
