Dalmatian review

Lou was a pedigree dalmatian and a strikingly beautiful dog to look at: sleek, smooth and stylish. She was friendly, companionable and energetic, which made her a lot of fun but also a lot of work; she needed at least one long run a day. She was very much a pack animal, which made her perfect for my big family. We loved her dearly! Because of her pedigree inbreeding, she had terrible eyesight and other health complications, and as an old lady she was incontinent, which led to some very undignified smelliness. She was also a useless hunter, and did nothing to help solve the mouse problem in our house. Overall a lovely, beautiful dog, but high maintenance.
