Rory was a huge boy with an even bigger character and many funny stories, enough to fill a book! Unfortunately he died young due to parvo before the inoculations were widely available. Aside from that he was a robust lively and strong boy who would run for miles and could easily jump a high fence. He suffered from bad ears which can be a trait in some Dalmation dogs, which meant he was not a very good guard dog. He was easy with everyone, a lot of fun and sang to any mouthorgan......so no Bob Dylan unless you wanted a huge cannonball charging into the room and attempting to copy the sounds, at full volume, only several notes behind! He was relatively easy to train but had his own mind so sometimes you had to roll with it, he was never a bad boy just willful and playful. The only drawback was his need to be groomed daily as he tended to shed hair consistently. He was a lovely family dog and connected us all with his love and antics.....we all still talk of him with great affection.
