High Energy Dalmatian - Sonny

We got Sonny as a puppy and loved him. He was very playful and learned quickly. He enjoyed chasing balls, running around with kids, and especially water play. This proved to be great & not-so-great for kids since he would often jump on them and knock them down because he was so hyper. He was incredibly friendly, bright with training but also oblivious to danger since he trusted everyone and just wanted to play. We did not do formal training but trained him on our own, so he knew how to heel on a walk, sit, and lay down but had little self control when new people came over to visit. Sonny was incredibly high energy, much more energetic than I would've liked, but this kept him lean until his death at the ripe age of 14. I loved Sonny but don't think I'll ever get another dalmatian due to the energy level.
