I don't have much experience with Dalmatians, I only had one but he was one of the most compassionate and friendliest dogs I've encountered, yes sometimes he liked to disobey me and steal my sweets or something like that, but he was friendly with everyone I was never afraid that he might run away and try to hurt child or another pet dog, I even had the cat along with my Dalmatian, although cat didn't like to be bothered Roni always tried to play with my cat and never even tried to hurt him.

I got him from a friend who had to leave the country and didn't want to give the dog to shelter, he was about 4-5 years old when I got him, unfortunately he's previous owner didn't much care about his training so when I got him he was mostly untrained and disobeyed me and other family members a lot, but in a several months he learnt that he shouldn't steal anything from table and simple sit and roll kind of tricks.

He was mostly very clean and healthy, we didn't have to go to vets for months.
