Acquired: Breeder (hobby breeder)

I had my Dalmatian, Bunker for ten years. He was incredibly sweet, great with kids and adorable. However, he was not smart at all. Although I tried and tried to housebreak him, he constantly had accidents in the house. He also did not realize that he was not supposed to greet everyone happily. I always felt that if someone had tried to break into my house while Bunker was alive, he would have assumed that they were supposed to be there. Although he was very loving, Bunker was really a lot of work. I don't know if he acted the way he did because he was a pure-bred but I have had much more luck with other dogs that have been of mixed breeds. I would not recommend a Dalmatian to anyone.
