My experience with this Dalmatian was a NIGHTMARE! He was far too rambunctious - especially with children in the house. He never stopped pouncing on people, jumping up on them and barking. There was never a moment where he was calm, even when he was asleep, he seemed to be vibrating with energy. He barked incessantly, and was all over the place, an extremely high strung dog. He ate (I'm sad to say) our pet turtle. I can't really recommend taking on a Dalmatian - we got him from a shelter, and I'm sad to say that after a couple of months, gave him over to a family friend because we just could not control him with children in the house. The kids were terrified of him.
