Gonzo was a joy to own. He was a lovable, funny, intelligent dog. A Dalmatian/Harlequin Pitbull mix, his fur was white except for a black/brown spot on his right eye and ear, with blue ticking on his skin that you could see when he was wet. He was very independent and always getting into mischief. One memorable escapade was on an Easter Sunday. He woke early, as usual and scratched at the door to go out. I was living in Santa Cruz, Ca. at the time. Well he goes out and about 30 min. later he is scratching to get in. I open the door and he's sitting there with a whole ham in his jaws that he must have stolen from someone's house. I was warm and no doubt someone had there back door open and he must have sneaked in and snagged the ham. I'll be to this day whoever lost that ham is still wondering what happened to it.
