Trixy was a great family pet. She loved the children very much as well as the adults. She was able to easily play and run for hours, but enjoyed her lap time as well. She was very easy to care for as far as grooming and feeding. The only thing I can say is she was sneaky. I remember her actually climbing onto the kitchen table to steal spaghetti! She was quirky and funny, just full of life. The only time I ever saw her aggressive was when she had puppies. Nobody was going near those pups! It didn't matter who tried. Small toys and a minimal amount of quality food and she was happy. She was excellent left at home when we were out for the day too. She never tore up anything or had accidents of any kind. She loved get togethers with extended family very much and was friendly with everyone. She easily put up with the little children. One thing bothersome about these dogs is their bark. They have absolutely amazing hearing, and they will bark at the tiniest noise. This is a good thing for someone wanting an alarm dog though. She may have been trainable to stop that, it just wasn't something that I pursued.
