My amazing, wonderful Dachshund

Shelby is a miniature, long-haired Dachshund, and I am grateful everyday of my life that she is in it.

Shelby is characteristic for a Dachshund in her hyperactivity and
high prey drive, and for her loyalty towards her owner (me). Though
Shelby isn't fond of strange dogs, or strange people & kids, she
does get along very well with cats and the adults in this family.

Except for a minor back problem a few months back, Shelby is an
extremely healthy (and personable) dog, and highly active and eager. She
is incredibly intelligent and easy to train, and enjoys agility and
swimming. She is a beautiful dog, and I hope I will have her for many,
many more years.
