Lilly, my in-Law's dog

Lilly is my mother- in-law and father-in-law's dog. When I met my husband Lilly was about 3 and she had just had cataract surgery. She was going blind. She is the sweetest little dog and she just loves people. When she hears the front door she barks like crazy. she has minimal grooming needs. Because of her eye problems she has undergone multiple eye procedures and is now blind in both eyes. she has to take medication and eye drops to help her eye pressure remain in normal levels. being blind does not stop her from having a full and happy life. she can still get around their house very well. she is the best little cuddle bug and loves to be under a blanket. I take care of her when they are out of town or just need someone to check in on her. a few downsides to her is that she doesn't really like kids or other dogs. and she barks a lot. and her health issues are very expensive for my in- laws. but she is such a happy sweet little dog despite being blind she deserves all the wonderful love and attention our family gives her.
