Lizzie My Dachshund

We got Lizzie as an adult. She is still learning our routines, but I can tell she is very stubborn and is aggressive toward men (that come onto her territory). She was difficult to potty train, but learned over the course of a month. Lizzie sometimes tries to bite if she is picked up, but is overall great with people, even children (7-13). Lizzie does amazing with other dogs, big or small. She has separation anxiety, and whines like crazy when someone leaves, when she's in her crate, or when she in the car. She's very 'busy' and runs around all day. Overall, I am very satisfied with her. Since she's a rescue, Lizzie needs a bit more time, and I know she will overcome these minor issues. She also needs to have usual vet checkups due to dachshunds having the risk of getting IVDD.
