Weenie: tiny terror

My little terror, also known as Weenie. Weenie entered our lives when he 8 weeks old, he was known as Echo Fitzgerald then and owned by a family friend. When he was 11 months, and an unfortunate accident took our friend too soon, he and his 'brother' Chance came to live with us. Weenie was untrained and a wild child, though he attached to me right away. We were able to train him fairly easy, tricks are the hardest, and he blended into our family quickly.
Weenie has a very obnoxious personality, he is protective of the house and even more protective of me. He has drawn blood from people who have tried to 'see if he was protective' and playfully hit me. He is a good dog to have with a rabbit or similar animal, as he has killed many pet rabbits. Like most dachshunds he will continue to eat and put on weight quickly, try to keep them close to their ideal went to prevent back problems.
