Oscar is incredibly cute. He is a very handsome dog. He was given to us by a friend of a friend, who was struggling with such a young puppy. Oscar is great in the house - he sleeps until at least 10am and doesn't like to get up much before. We have trained him not to beg, even though he is quite greedy. He is incredibly loving and loves curling up on our laps, which makes him very endearing.
He is not a huge fan of walks as he has short little legs, but we take him to the woods everyday! In that sense, he'd make a great pet for someone living in an apartment.
The main negative with Oscar is that he hates other dogs. He is aggressive towards them and doesn't seem to realise how small he is in comparison! This is partly our fault as we didn't socialise him enough when he was a puppy.
He is also very nervous of small children. We don't have any in the family but we have to be careful when we're out for walks. They run up to him and scream in his face, as small children do, and it makes him very nervous.
All in all, he's a great dog. I prefer slightly larger dogs, but we love him and if you're looking for a lap dog you could do worse!
