My King Kong

I have had my dog, Kong, for almost 10 years. He is a very loving, protective, affectionate dog. He is very relaxed and loves to cuddle. When anyone is away from the house for more than a day or two, he gets very sad and he clearly misses them. Unfortunately something in his DNA didn't line up and the pure bred short-haired dachshund turned out to have a very different type of fur. His fur is longer than it should be and does require professional grooming. He also has bad teeth that causes very bad breath, and this apparently more common than we thought among dogs of his breed. He is a very friendly dog and gets along well with both of my cats, and is very playful with the new kitten, never hurting him. I would recommend this type of dog for anyone who wants a small, sturdy, loving, easy-going dog.
