First and foremost, I love Greta. She goes everywhere with me, and she has the personality of a princess. Despite the peanut sized brain hiding in her cute little head, she is incredibly smart, with no formal trainer. If I tell her to go find the cat, she finds the cat. She can do this for all three of my employees and my children. I can almost hold a conversation with her because of how much personality she shows when you talk with her.

But, Greta is a nibbler. She likes little children fingers and chunks of meat from those that get too close to me. Don't get me wrong, she's safe. But I have to keep her by my side to prevent any problems with strangers. Once she gets to know people, no problem. People that keep their distance, no problem. Babies? Always a problem.

I'd recommend a Dachshund to anyone that needs a loving and quirky companion, but don't expect your new friend to be too social.
