1-year old dachshund is playful, yet stubborn
Mable is a very playful dog- she loves racing around the living room or yard, teasing the cat or baiting other dogs into playing. She never hurts anyone and just play-fights.
The downside of this dog has been the lack of discipline- she often does her business in the house, and it has been somewhat difficult to always get her to go outside. I'm not sure if she will grow out of it yet, as she is still young.
I would recommend a dachshund puppy because they are small, playful, and they play well with children and other pets (including cats).
