This long haired Dachshund is a bit nippy and yappy. In her defense, she does just bark whenever she sees something out of order, but the problem is that she thinks an awful lot of things are out of order. She can see the same event every single day at the same time and bark nonstop every time it happens.

She does love her family very much and loves to play and run. She makes a good house dog but really wants to be outdoors to play also.

The downside is the dog is really a hound dog, so your chicken flock is not going to be safe around her. She will try to kill birds. Also, there is a concern about health problems in the older age because of the long back and short legs.
