We first got Fiona as a young rescue dog from a pet shelter that was closing. By the time that she was six months old, she was already the full size that she would grow through her entire life. Fiona was very friendly, and liked to be involved with me and my other family members all of the time. She was well trained when it came to not ruining our carpets. In fact, you could differentiate between her " I see a car" barks and the "I need to go" barks. She was a very sweet dog that could be trusted with any other pets, including my gerbil, as well as small children. I cannot think of a single time that I had to scold her, and she was very easy to train to give her paw. Overall, if I was not so heartbroken over her untimely death to cancer, I could have gotten another dog. I wish I still had pictures of this wonderful dog.
