Because I'm a rescuer, I've had up to 21 dogs and cats in my home at the same time. Because I'm also a dog trainer, I also got a lot of the hard cases that nobody else could work with or keep. Franny was always the most patient dog with the fosters - even the aggressive ones, because she gives calming signals and hates unpleasantries.
I'm also a very peaceful person and like it that way, so we are a good match. One time I had a foster GSD female who tore down a fence and attacked Franny. She defended herself beautifully but you can tell she hates to fight and will go way out of her way to avoid conflicts with other dogs. Fortunately, I don't take in rescue animals anymore.
Franny's always been terrific with kids - not just my relatives, but the kid of the lady who had her before me. She can be reactive to other dogs, but around our house, she always wanted to keep the peace.
She is a fast learner and loves dog treats. Unfortunately she has pancreatitis now, so she has to eat special food. However, she's been a very healthy dog overall. She loves to go on walks.
