I had a friend describe my dog Boogie as having gotten the worst traits of both his breeds (Dachshund and Rottweiler--and yes, those were his breeds!). I inherited Boogie from a friend of mine when he was no longer getting along with their young children. He was a loveable boy, but ultimately, a stubborn guy to train. He was high strung and bossy, but I was his person, so we generally got along just fine. Not sure I would recommend either of these breeds for apartment living.
