Acquired: Breeder (hobby breeder)

My family has owned several Dachshund breed dogs.
The good: Highly intelligent and obedient animal, understands commands and orders well.
Easy to groom and very little shedding.
Aware of strangers and willing to attack if needed, doesn't bark a lot.
Reasonably active dog, likes company of other dogs.
Neutral: Enjoys trips and expeditions, has trouble with longer distances though due to leg size, so carrying would be needed.
The bad: Having strangers over too often might be bad, could get bitten.
Due to size, not exactly fit for a guard dog, but can be vicious.
