Midnight is a loving dog who will play with you and love on you all day long. He belongs to my father in law. When my father in law left town for a job and wasn't sure he was coming back he gave us midnight to take care of. Midnight is very wild and hyper and was really overwhelming for me. That was surprising to me as I am a huge dog lover. It annoyed me that he could follow basic commands. After a while I could get him to come to me and stop barking like a maniac but that was hard training just to get there. He is a non stop barker at anything that moves. Our neighbors hated us. I loved it when Midnight would calm down and cuddle. He was really cute because he looked so ridiculous. He has a full sized lab body with the dachshund super short legs. He is a sweet dog just not very intelligent and lacking self-control. My father in law moved back much sooner than expected and was able to take him back. We see him all the time. After my father in law remarried a wonderful woman who loves dogs Midnight really found his place in this world and has become much calmer with all the new attention
