Rocky was one of the best dogs we've ever owned. She arrived on our front porch on Easter morning after being abandoned by her previous family. They got rid of her because they didn't think she'd be good with babies. Eight years later, we had a baby and she was amazing. She came to get me when the baby cried, she was very loving and attentive. Rocky was left out in the rain when she was abandoned, so because of that she was terrified of thunderstorms, but that was really her only neurosis. She was so sweet, gentle, and loving with a wonderful temperament. We got lots of compliments on her unique look and she lived a long, great life. She passed away in 2013 of lung cancer at the age of 16.
