Make sure you purchase only from a Code of Ethics breeder; ask about health testing; ask for breeder's contract; ask for referrals. This is an expensive breed whoes genetics have been well protected. Do not purchase from a pet store. I also genetically test for breed appropriate diseases. A very versitile breed with a slow growing shedless coat. Very affectionate.
