I love my Coton, Twilight, more than anything. To me, he is very loving, attached, and obedient. However, to other people, especially the males in the household, he can be a bit aggressive. He is territorial and does a lot of marking around the house. We haven't been able to stop this because he is very sneaky about it. He definitely thinks he owns the house. He will also nip at people besides me that try to touch his food and bones or favorite toys. Twilight is still loved by many of my friends and all the members in my household, even if he can be a bit crazy at times. He gets along well with other dogs and most other animals. We have had to had his teeth professionally cleaned, and the vet even had to remove one tooth. I have heard this is a common health problem in this breed. Twilight is, in my opinion, very intelligent. Although he only listens when he wants to commands, he knows many words such as outside, mommy, and Teddy in which we never taught him. He is also amazing at recognizing towns and buildings. He knows when we are driving to my mother's house or to the dog groomer. Twilight definitely has one of the biggest personalities that I've ever seen in a dog. His vocal expressions and body language makes living with him a blast.
