We received Bailey from a Coton breeder who had found herself with a litter of Coton-Shih Tzu mixes. Fun fact: Bailey's dad was the father of a litter of puppies on Too Cute! on Animal Planet. She always has a lot of energy when she wakes up, but will quickly tire herself out. She was very difficult to train and still has some trouble staying still when she thinks something interesting is happening. Despite this, she is very smart and will listen to complex commands if you can get her to calm down. She is very good with our chinchilla and the two will run around together during the chinchilla's playtime. The mix of the two breeds is hypoallergenic and is usually a very calm and affectionate dog. Like both a Shih-Tzu and Coton de Tulear, their coat requires a good amount of upkeep.
