I honestly didn't realize just how amazing our Collie Lassie was until starting this review. She was amazing. Everything we could have imagined in a dog and more. Lassie was a stray that made her way to our house as many did growing up. She had found some bunnies and would lay on them to keep them warm. She would also carry them around. My sister saw this and took her in immediately I’m not sure if she had any previous training but she was very well behaved. We named her Lassie of course because as a kid my sister and I weren’t very original. We later after Lassie’s passing adopted another Collie who was just the same. I truly believe looking back now that this would be the perfect dog for a lot of people. I know a fear of mine with dogs as a parent is their acceptance to your children and future babies. A Collie in my opinion won’t only be good around your children but will protect and love your children. I know Lassie always protected and loved us kids. Writing thins makes me want to go get another Collie.
