Man, I remember Shawn. Shawn was a childhood dog- he'd been in the house since before I was born. My parents had him and another collie named Tori (Who they gave up a year or two after my birth), and he was the BEST dog. There are pictures back at home of him standing over my car carrier and sniffing me, sitting next to me, just being a laidback, happy guy.

He was so sweet- I could pull on his ears and he didn't care. I could lay on him, sit on him, and he just sat there. He never barked, be never licked me or bit at me, he was so sweet. It's hard to find a dog this mellow, but Shawn was it. We got a cat named Arthur when I was about four or so, and those two loved each other! He was just so mellow, and Arthur was nice to him- they just slept together literally ALL THE TIME.

Shawn was a great dog- he was everything a dog should be. Sweet, eager, happy, super duper cute. He shed a lot though- nice, big, long coat! So cute, so wonderful, so sweet. A great dog- just the kind you want around kids.
