After checking out which dog would be good with kids, not super hyper, and more laid back so they would be happy in the house, I decided to get a Collie. He is a small dog. Trevor is a loving dog, he doesn't bite, and is always looking for attention! Especially when the children are around. He listens very well. He goes to his crate for the nights when we say "kennel" and he doesn't fight it at all. The only issue I have had is that he has a nervous bladder. I was told that he would outgrow it, but he is three years old now and still does it at least once a month.
