Bosco the Cocker Spaniel

When we were growing up we had a Cocker Spaniel named Bosco. When she was a puppy she had a tendency to be a bit nippy but with constant gentle correction she out grew that phase. She was great with kids and slept in the bed with with my brother. She trained fairly quickly and knew sit, stay, and roll over. We had cats and Bosco got along just fine with them. Cockers need a lot of grooming as they have long hair. They can get very matted if not brushed regularly, especially around the ears. A trip to the groomer every four to six weeks would probably be a good idea.
