Docile, Family Pet

Growing up I had a family dog that was a Cocker Spaniel named Daisy. I can’t recommend Cocker Spaniels enough for a family pet with children. She was sweet, submissive, and docile. She was golden in color and weighed around 20 pounds full grown. She wasn’t a good watch dog or protector. She would actual roll over and urinate anytime someone walked in the door. However, she was incredibly sweet, great with other dogs, and friendly with everyone she met. She didn’t require much grooming, although she did shed. It was only noticeable twice a year. Unfortunately, she did have quite a few health problems as she got older and had to be put to sleep at an early age (around 7 years old).
