A Great Breed for Everyone

I think the Cocker Spaniel is one of the best breeds of dog. I would not hesitate to bring one of these dogs home for my son who is two. My experience with this breed comes from my former boss whose house I was at on a daily basis. She was the sweetest dog in the world and would literally never hurt a fly. She was known for being great with all other dogs, kids, and even kittens. After I had my son and I went to Jason's house for the first time, Shia was so curious to see what I had and when she saw I had a baby, she was like my BFF from that point on.

In the end, I think these are highly intelligent dogs that are able to learn many tricks if taught. They are a great breed for everyone including children as they tend to be a gentle breed.
