Binx was an amazing dog. I had not personally raised a Cocker Spaniel before, but I was pleased at how fast he learned and how well behaved he was. My son got him with his birthday money. I have pictures from the moment he was barely bigger than my sons hand until he was standing knee height. He was easy to potty train and learn sit, stay, come, lay down. He was always well behaved, never barked excessively, never growled or snipped at my son, and went everywhere with my child. They played in the snow together, went on hikes in the woods, and even road the golf cart. Binx was unfortunately killed when trying to cross a road to greet the neighbors who had bought the dame golf cart we had. It was a devastating time for me and my son. Honestly, I would get another Cocker Spaniel in a heart beat. The only issue was the need to groom, but I had no problem doing it at home to keep his fur manageable. He had a wonderful temperament, never bothered the cat, loved to swim and play, and was a fluffy teddy bear.
